After the property was purchased by investors, the new owners were faced with substantial water intrusion throughout the entire property, resulting in revenue loss and property deterioration. Seeing their expensive asset at massive risk, the owners knew they needed to act quickly to protect the residents and their investment.

Reconstruction Experts were hired to assist the property’s design professional with destructive testing of the property, uncovering systemic issues that were the root cause of the trouble the building was facing. Emergency repairs were made to protect the residents of the property, while the owners pursued litigation with direct support from RE. We protected their case by preserving key
evidence that allowed them to create an effective, powerful case against the original contractors for faulty installation.
Critical to the work RE needed to complete was ensuring the protection of the owner’s investment on the building, while completing repairs with residents paying a premium for the luxury property experiencing as little disruption as possible. With repairs requiring access to every unit of the property, RE was able to work with management to create units that allowed residents to relocate temporarily while work occurred within their space.
All stucco was removed from the property, while all doors and windows were replaced, and the courtyard and pool underwent a full renovation. Through the entire project, RE supported the client with their litigation needs and residents were handled with extreme care.
